The Slave Next Door: Human Trafficking in New Jersey

New Jersey ranks sixth in the nation for incidences of human trafficking, and the FBI identifies Morristown as a hub for modern day slavery. The group identified as at greatest risk to become victims are children and youth who are in the foster care system or who have aged out and are homeless.

Learn what human trafficking is, how to recognize it, and what you can do to fight it.

The program is presented by the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking. NJCAHT is a completely volunteer organization consisting of over 175 member groups (including CASA), working together to end human trafficking.

Speaker: Susan Neigher
Susan Neigher, Ph.D. is a founding member of NJCAHT. She serves on the Board of Trustees, the Steering Committee, and is a co-chair of the Healthcare Committee. Dr. Neigher is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Randolph, working with children and youth.
